I am a nationally certified nurse practitioner, specializing in Oncology and Mental Health. I obtained my bachelor of science in nursing from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT and earned my advanced degree as a nurse practitioner from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. I hold three national board certifications with the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC): Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) as an advanced oncology-certified nurse practitioner. I am an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau, and the International Honor Society of Nursing. I have gained extensive experience from working at the Veterans Administration, geriatric extended care facilities, and community mental health clinics. I am highly trained in cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, Strength-based Therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDRNETWORK).

​My areas of clinical expertise include multicultural psychology, trauma, Christian counseling, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, stress, pregnancy, postpartum, prenatal, and health issues.
